Surprise! There are three Kissel ladies going back to school this year. Emily starts Kindergarten, Lucy’s in 2nd grade…and I’m coming out of retirement to teach second grade!!! (Not Lucy’s class!) I was hired Monday afternoon, and the amount of overwhelm and range of emotions I’ve felt since then has been, well, overwhelming! To those of you who already heard the news and have texted or called, thank you so so much. This is a new, crazy time for the Kissels, and we’re all very excited…and one of us is very nervous! Only six days until school starts…I can do this!!
The blog will be quiet for awhile. I may try to do a post with back to school photos, and maybe a few of my classroom, but I make zero promises 🙂
Wish us luck . . . we’re all going to need it!
