Happy Monday!
The girls are both going to Vacation Bible School in the mornings this week, so I’m taking advantage and doing a little deep cleaning each day. It’s always amazing to me how much I can get done with my air pods in and no kiddos to interrupt me!
We had a good weekend that involved some snack crafts, boating, and LOTS of rainbow loom bracelets.
Marie sent me an Instagram post that used Pop It’s to make yogurt bark. Since we have no shortage of Pop Its at our house, we decided to give it a try. Obviously, we washed them with soap and water first.

The girls put blueberries, cut up strawberries, and chocolate chips into the pop it holes.

Then they covered everything with a layer of yogurt, and we popped (ha!) them into the freezer.

We took them out after lunch and carefully peeled away the silicone Pop It, and it worked like a charm!

Penelope Pudding had to go to the vet because she has a UTI. This sweet little puppy sniffed around the exam room while we waited, but as soon as the vet opened the door to come in Penelope curled up on my lap!

We spent Saturday afternoon out on the Heinbuch’s boat, and it was a hot and humid day . . . perfect for the lake!

The water was the perfect temperature, and we enjoyed a few hours of swimming and boating.

Lucy enjoyed the captains hat and boat sunglasses, and both girls enjoyed being a little silly. We ended the night with pizza and cookies out on the deck, and it was wonderful!

My friend Amber made Penelope a few bandanas that slide onto her collar, and she looks so cute!

We are all Rainbow Loom all the time over here lately. Yesterday was a rainy day and we had no plans, so I told the girls I’d sit down with them and we’d work on some harder bracelets. Emily’s worked out perfectly. Lucy’s . . . not so much! On the outside I was super calm and nonchalant and explained to Lucy that when we get frustrated we should just take a break and come back later. On the inside I wanted to throw the damn rainbow loom off the deck! I might try and make one on my own today while Lucy is at VBS so that I can get a better grasp on how to do it.

And that was our weekend!
Ok, I’m off to clean three bathrooms while my little ladies are away. Have a great week!
XOXO
