Happy Thursday, friends!
How is it possible that summer seems like it just started, but also that it’s been going on forever? We’ve been cramming in lots of fun summer activities, and I have the pictures to prove it!
Speaking of fun activities, we had a rainy day last week so the girls and I purged, cleaned, organized, and rearranged their rooms. It took allllll day, but they actually were very helpful!

Their reward for being so helpful was a new stuffy from Five Below! (Lucy brought her elephant from home to help her choose a new friend.)

We FINALLY got around to making picture frames with the sea shells we brought home from Marco Island. The girls probably brought home at least 100 shells, but this is all I could get them to use on their frames. The frame for our family photo was made by Amazon. 😉

Marie and I took the girls to the Plymouth Art Fair last Friday. It was supposed to be overcast, but it was sunny and HOT. These ladies found shade whenever they could.

And then after lunch, the sky opened up and it started pouring. Did we have umbrellas? No. Were we as far as humanly possible from our car? Yes, yes we were!

Emmy Roses had her very first friend birthday party on Sunday, and she was SO excited!

It was a beautiful day, and these little ladies had the best time playing, jumping in the bounce house, going in the pool, and playing with water balloons and squirt guns.

Last Sunday evening there was a charity AquaZumba class at our pool. Only about twelve ladies showed up, but it was so much fun! The kiddos watched/participated too and it was just a fun hour of exercise and laughing. It’s hard to dance in the water!

These four have been at Encanto Dance Camp all week and are LOVING it. I picked them up on Monday and brought them home for lunch . . .

. . . and then we all hit the pool!

Matty took this super flattering picture of me during dance camp on Tuesday. It’s a rare occasion that both girls are gone at the same time for an extended period of time. On Tuesday I did some cleaning and then went to the library to get some new books . . . and then decided to take some time to enjoy one!

I’m not the only one who needed some downtime. Isn’t Penelope the sweetest??

Day 3 of dance camp!

We were supposed to go to Marie’s pool after camp, but it was raining. Plan B was indoor glow in the dark mini golf! It was pretty cool!

There was also an arcade at the mini golf place. Marie and I have a strict “no games” policy when we go to places like this. #meanmamas The girls really wanted to do the photo booth and piled in and knew just what to do. We weren’t breaking our policy, though, so here’s a pro parenting tip . . . let them pile into the booth and then hold your cellphone in there on selfie mode and click away.

Last night was such a beautiful night, the girlies and I hung out at our neighbor’s house while Matty had some meetings.

And that’s our summer fun so far! Today is the last day of Encanto Dance Camp, and I’ll be heading over there to watch the girls’ performance. I’m sure it’ll be cuteness overload. Afterward, there is something unprecedented happening . . . my mom and dad are taking the girls to their house for FOUR days! Yes, you read that correctly . . . four days! I
I know, I know, I can’t believe it either!
Matty and I will be heading to the cottage for our 2nd annual Friends Weekend, and we could not be more excited! Eight of us will be leaving six little girls behind with grandparents while we live it up on the lake for a few nights.
Check out the weather forecast!!

Needless to say, I will not be blogging on Monday. I’ll see you back here on Thursday!!
And a HUGE thanks to my mom and dad for making this possible!!
XOXO
