Happy Monday . . . hot on the heels of a very trying Sunday.

I know, I know . . . I promised the second half of our Marco Island trip today, but that’s a labor intensive post and I just don’t have it in me at 9pm on Sunday night. Here’s my Sunday, by the numbers.
6:30am: The time Lucy woke up, for some unknown reason.
2.5: The number of people with colds at the Kissel house. Both girls have them and Matty says he feels one coming on. Please see above meme.
3: The number of meltdowns (one of which was quite public) that one of my children had yesterday.
15: The number of minutes late we were for a birthday party due to the first of the three aforementioned meltdowns.
2: The number of times one of my children told me I was a mean mama.
1: The number of times that same child told me she should live with other parents who aren’t so mean.
7: The number of hours Emily played outside yesterday.
3.5: The number of hours Lucy got to play outside after a birthday party and catechism.
30 seconds: The amount of peaceful shower time I got after we put the girls to bed before the grand finale of this crappy day occurred: sweet Emmy Roses accidentally wet the bed AND got a bloody nose at the same time. She’s very talented.
I’m grumpy and ready for Sunday to be over, so I’m calling it a night. Being a mama is hard. Everything will be better in the morning!
Marco Island part two on Thursday, I promise! . . . hopefully! ๐
XOXO
