Spring Gift Guide for Girls

March 17, 2022 by Molly Leave a Comment

Whether it’s Easter baskets or spring birthdays, I feel like I’m buying alllll the gifts lately.

Here are some ideas to make those baskets or birthdays extra festive!

Giant Pop Its: The Pop It craze is still going strong in our house, and these giant ones will be a hit. I saw them at Claire’s for $30, but Amazon’s prices are much more reasonable. The koala is super cute, and so is this dog.

Pop It Key Chains: I bought a pack of these to use on gift toppers for allll the birthday parties Lucy’s been invited to. They look cute on top, and the kids like them way more than a bow!

Melissa and Doug Quilt Craft: Crafts are always a hit, and I think this will be a fun one for the girls to do. No sewing, just knot tying . . . they can handle that on their own, right?

Sticker Collecting Book: I’ve been finding pieces of paper taped to the girls’ wall with stickers on it, which I think is a good indication that the girls need some sticker books. Lucy actually has one that’s all full already. This two pack is great, one for each girl, and then they can decorate the front with their own stickers.

I’ll get these food stickers for Emily and the animal ones for Lucy.

Giant Bubble Wands: The girls got these last year, and we love it so much I’ve given it as a gifts a few times. These wands are a hit with kids and adults!

Pool Floats: We live in the water in the summer, and the girls are always borrowing other kids’ inner tubes at the pool. This is the year they’ll finally get some of their own.

Colored Scented Pens: Those three words basically speak for themselves, and this Hawaiian unicorn theme is darling! I love that these are click pens so we don’t have to worry about losing caps.

Mini Notebooks: What good are new pens if you don’t have a cute new notebook to write in? I like this three pack for a few reasons. 1. They’re small and can fit in the girls’ purses. 2. The little tabs are adorable. 3. I can give one to each girl and save one as a gift for a friend. 4. I could wrap each one up and attach a smelly pen and a pop it key chain to the top and have three super cute gifts for all of these parties!

Other random gift ideas or basket fillers:

  • Sidewalk chalk
  • Hair clips
  • Nail polish
  • Bubbles
  • Cute socks
  • Chap stick
  • Sunglasses

I hope you found this helpful. Happy Shopping!

XOXO

Classroom Before and After

Happy First Day of School! I’m coming up for a very quick breath of air to share my classroom before and after pics. I signed my contract at 3:30pm last Tuesday . . . that’s one week ago today. There was a lot of excitement and a lot of tears. In the blink of one […]

Mrs. Kissel: 2nd Grade Teacher!

Surprise! There are three Kissel ladies going back to school this year. Emily starts Kindergarten, Lucy’s in 2nd grade…and I’m coming out of retirement to teach second grade!!! (Not Lucy’s class!) I was hired Monday afternoon, and the amount of overwhelm and range of emotions I’ve felt since then has been, well, overwhelming! To those […]
