Happy Monday!
With the exception of a rainy Saturday, we’ve had some great weather and we’ve been outside all. day. long. The girls are having a blast running around our little area of the neighborhood with their friends, and I’m having a blast not having to follow them around every second outside anymore!
Oh man, just looking at this picture stresses me out. I checked the time stamp, and it took it at 7:47pm last Tuesday. I was on a Zoom PTO meeting (with the camera off), I was trying to bag up St. Patrick’s Day cookie orders, and Lucy was reading aloud to me to try and get in her 20 minutes of reading per day. It was a lot!

On Wednesday, Emmy’s preschool took a field trip to the U of M Museum of Natural History.

Emily really enjoyed the science room!

Lucy’s class took the same field trip back when she was in 4 year old preschool, so I had to recreate this bathroom selfie picture. Lucy and I on March 9, 2020 . . . boy if only we had known what was in store for us over the next two years. I feel like I’ve lived 100 lives since then!

Thursday was St. Patrick’s Day, and I prepped the night before by making the girls lunches all green . . .

. . . and doing some leprechaun shenanigans like putting stickers on the toilet paper . . .

. . . and shamrocks on the mirrors. There was also green food coloring in the toilet, but it seemed gross to take a picture of that.

We made green pancakes with sausage for breakfast!

Thursday was a gorgeous day, and we were outside from the time Lucy got home from school until about 7pm . . . and so was our entire neighborhood. There were kids running around and having a blast everywhere!

Matty went to a happy hour Friday evening. I watched one of our neighbors, and our whole gang took another neighbor’s gigantic puppy for a walk. It was quite an adventure!

On Saturday, Lucy went to a birthday party at the bowling alley in town . . .

. . . so Emmy and I met a neighbor there and went bowling too.

It rained allll day on Saturday, and Penelope knew just want to do!

The Heinbuchs came over in the evening, and the girls were excited to play Mario Kart with them.

Yesterday was another beautiful day, and we spent most of it outside. The only picture I took was of Matty helping the girls do the monkey bars at the playground during our post dinner walk.

This week is the girls’ last week of school before spring break, so I’m going to utilize every minute of the nine hours a week I get to myself! ๐
Have a great week!
XOXO
