Happy Thursday, everyone!
I really have nothing to report, so I rounded up a few random things I had on my computer and am putting them in this post.
One of my favorite parts of the day is peeking in on the girls before we go to bed. I love this for two reasons: 1. Because it means I’m going to bed and 2. Because the girls usually look so cute. Here’s Exhibit A . . .

. . . and Exhibit B!

And let’s not forget about Penelope! Two days ago she did a four mile walk in the morning and then went to the groomer after lunch, and she was tuckered out when she got home! We had a little quiet time in the late afternoon and Penelope passed out. She was snoring like we’d never heard her snore before!

I wrote this note to myself and put it in my planner for when we get to November. It made me laugh when I wrote it, and I’m sure I’ll love it even more when I see it again in nine months!

The snow is our biggest story of the week. The girls had a snow day yesterday and another one today. I’ve gotta tell ya . . . two weeks at Christmas, plus ten days for Covid, plus a day off for MLK, plus two snow days equals a frazzled mama! I never thought I’d be the kind of mama who was bummed out for snow days, but this is A LOT of together time being stuck at home!

This made me LOL! You know I love a good meme!

This also made me LOL!

And that’s all I’ve got.
We’ve got a BIG weekend ahead of us . . . I’m turning 40 on Saturday! Yikes! Do I feel 40? I guess so . . . see the above haiku! ๐ We’ve got a dinner with friends on Saturday evening, but due to illness and Covid in our family we’ll be postponing my family party until (hopefully!) next weekend. I’m hoping to sneak away for a massage on Saturday afternoon, and I’m sure Matty and the girls will spoil me rotten all day long, right Matty boy?!
Have a great weekend, I’m sure I will! ๐
XOXO
