You know I LOVE a holiday!
Honestly, I didn’t decorate for Valentine’s Day this year because I just didn’t feel like it, but I’m looking forward to making today special for my little loves.
First, though, I had my best day of cookie sales ever yesterday! I already had a few orders for Valentine’s Day, but I had a lot of cookies leftover, so I did a post on our neighborhood FB page and people came through! I posted a picture very similar to this, but without the cute Cavapoo in the background.

A few boxes had already been delivered, but here’s what I put together yesterday! If the boxes look a little weird, it’s because I blurred out the sticky notes with people’s names and addresses on them.

After the girls went to bed last night, I set up a very subtle Valentine’s Day table to surprise them in the morning. What’s in the boxes and bags? . . .

. . . I’m glad you asked! Each girl is getting a small squishmallow, a piece of candy, three Biscuit books (I bought a set of 6 from a mom to mom site!), slippers, scrunchies, and a sea shell collection bag for a trip we’re taking in April. Here are Lucy’s gifts . . .

. . . and here are Emily’s. She is going to LOVE these crazy slippers, I just know it! Pickings were slim, and these were on clearance! haha

I’ll wake the girls up a little earlier than usual so they can open their gifts and enjoy a yummy breakfast of cinnamon rolls and sausage!

Lucy will be surprised when she opens up her lunchbox to find a very festive selection . . .

. . . and then dinner will be chili with heart shaped cornbread.

What a fun little love-filled day to brighten things up in the middle of this cold, dreary winter!
And now it’s time for a trip down memory lane! Here are my little Valentines in previous years.
