Happy Thursday!
We’ve had a whirlwind of a week here with school and gymnastics both starting. Lucy’s learning the school procedures and I’m learning the ins and outs of the dreaded car line. Overall, it’s been a good couple of days so far, and I hope it continues!
We let Lucy pick what she wanted for breakfast Tuesday morning, and she picked homemade breakfast burritos . . . one of the most labor intensive breakfasts we make! Lucy starts at 8:15am this year (instead of 9am like last year), so we were all up bright and early!

Such a big girl! Lucy has LOVED picking up veggies from our farm co-op this summer and chatting with Farmer Cindy and Farmer Rich . . . and they’ve greatly influenced her career choices.

I would like to note that Matty dressed Emily.

She was a little nervous, but walked right in with a few friends who are in a different first grade class. It was so hard to have to leave her at the door rather than walk her to the classroom, but I’m proud to report that we BOTH did great!

You know I can’t resist a trip down memory lane. Here’s our sweet Lucy Belle starting in 2 year old Stay and Play. She’s getting so big!!

It’s only the first week of school, and I’m already looking forward to Friday night! Have a great weekend!
XOXO
