Happy Monday!
Because of all the back to school festivities, I realized I never posted any of our pictures from Labor Day Weekend. I’m going to do those today, along with pictures from this weekend.
Our weather over Labor Day wasn’t terrible, but it certainly wasn’t “swim all day” kind of weather. We went out to dinner Friday night and enjoyed a delicious meal with views of a lake.

We were out on a golf cart ride when we had to stop for the girls to check out this dog. She was eight years old, weighed three pounds, and had zero teeth . . . the girls were smitten.

We took these cuties to the farm one afternoon, and they had a blast checking out all the animals and eating donuts.

For $1 you could get a popsicle stick covered in peanut butter and bird seed to take into the bird enclosure. Lucy was dying to do it, Emily was somewhat interested, but Matty and I had no desire to enter that cage (see our feet there . . . safely on the other side!). Luckily, Aunt Sarah decided to take one for the team and take the girls in. I wasn’t exactly sure how it would go, but those birds SWARMED!

I believe Sarah took this picture right before birds landed on Emily’s arm causing her to lose her ever loving mind, and I had to go in there and pull her out . . . all while trying not to step on a bird or let one out of the cage! #birddrama

Lucy stayed in and had a blast!

Aunt Sarah and the kiddos made some delicious Rice Krispie treats!

Saying goodbye on Labor Day . . . there’s a chance we might not see these guys again until Christmas! ๐

After a long and hectic first week of school, we celebrated with ice cream on Friday afternoon.

The girls were playing so well in Lucy’s room on Saturday afternoon, and then they came out looking like this!

On Sunday, we met some friends at the Fall Festival in Downtown Plymouth. These cuties had a great time riding all the rides!

We had a delicious Mexican lunch and planned on going for ice cream, but the girlies wanted cotton candy. #nothankyou

And the rest of Sunday was spent prepping for the week ahead. Emily finally starts preschool on Wednesday, and we are both very excited!
Have a great week!
XOXO
