Happy Thursday!
Sorry about being MIA on Monday. We were at the cottage Friday-Monday, and it totally slipped my mind to do a post. Oops!
I have a random collection today of things that have made me smile over the past week or so, and hopefully they make you smile too.
Who doesn’t smile for tacos?! Especially when it’s a last minute decision to go out to eat rather than cook dinner on a hot day.

The girls and our neighbor did a Moana Dance Camp every morning last week, and to say they LOVED it would be an understatement. It was so cute to see them so excited every morning. They capped off the week with a little recital, and I gave all the girls fancy hair.

Poor Lucy is battling a little cold, but she was a champ.
Seeing these sweet cousins have so much fun tubing definitely made me smile! I think it’s the goggles that get me!

It was 86 degrees the other day, so my friend Marie and I decided to drive about 30 minutes to check out a different splash pad . . . and when we pulled up there was a sign posted that it was closed due to broken parts! Ugh! These girlies made the best of it though and did what everyone should do on a hot and sunny day . . . play at the playground and take a hot nature walk!

Proof of Mamas!

This picture not only made me smile, it made me laugh out loud! Sister swim selfie for the win!

We had our vegetable pick up this week, and the girls got to brush Roger . . .

. . . and feed baby Preston!
This made me laugh out loud as well. We had three succulents and one houseplant that we’ve lovingly been cultivating . . . and they’re all dead. D.E.A.D. DEAD! We can keep tiny humans alive, but house plants get the best of us every single time!

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Lucy had a birthday party for a little girl from her Kindergarten class. It was really the first time I’d gotten to meet parents or see their faces. I happened to be nearest to the pizza and when the host asked me first if I wanted any, my starving self politely declined . . . and then almost every single parent after me took a slice of pizza! DARN IT!!

Finally, the biggest smile of the week . . . my friend, Brandon, published his second children’s book! Here he is signing some copies at Barnes and Noble, which is SO legit! We got two copies of Shadow Songs so we could keep one at the house and one at the cottage. If you can’t make it out to the Allen Park Barnes and Noble to get an autographed copy, be sure to check it out on Amazon!

This morning we hit the road for three nights in Cedar Point, which has the entire Kissel family smiling big!
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
