Happy Thursday!
Life has been pretty uneventful this week. I’m still recovering from my sinus infection and feel pretty darn tired most days, so I’ve not been as active as usual. It’s helping my body, I’m sure, but it’s not helping my mood!
Sometimes I refer to Penelope as “Queenie” when she does something over the top like position herself on top of all the pillows on our bed or allow herself to be carried to go outside rather than walk on her own. This week the girls dressed her up like the puppy queen she is, and I loved it!

The girls have been living at the pool and loving every minute of it. Between their swim lessons and all the practice at the pool, they have both improved so much this year. Emily can swim around in the deep end with her head barely above water and I panic every time . . . but she’s doing fine and keeping herself afloat. Matty say she looks like a baby elephant in the water!

I had to go get bloodwork done this week and took the girls with me. I wasn’t sure if the nurse would even let the girls go back. Not only did she invite them back, but she also gave them gloves and had them hold/shake the blood vials after she took them from me! They loved playing Nurse and felt so helpful! Pay no attention to the sign below my bag that says do not use your cell phone . . . I asked for permission before I took the picture.

Finally, we had our second CSA pick up at Cardinal Farms this week and we got to meet Preston the three month old baby goat! He was precious and followed us around just like a little puppy would . . . he even nibbled on my shoelaces! haha

The farmer said I could pick Preston up and hold him just like a puppy as long as I put my arm underneath his booty to support him. Um . . no thank you, I’ll come down to his level. Goat booties are not my thing!

And that’s a little look at life lately.
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
