Happy Monday, friends!
We are one week in to summer vacation, and we’ve all adjusted nicely into a lazy summer routine. We’re all sleeping later, I’m working out later, and I’ve even taken TWO naps! I look forward to a few more months of this!
I’ve got a bunch of pictures from over the past few weeks, and they all involve water. If there’s water, the Kissels are in it!
We bought this lilly pad/magic carpet float for the lake this year, and it’s the best money we’ve ever spent! The girls spend hours jumping from the boat to the magic carpet and then into the water.

Penelope loves the boat and water too!

The girls started weekly swim lessons and love it!

Sweet Emmy Roses could not contain her excitement over getting a swim cap! haha

I took Emily on a playdate to the splash pad at Kensington Metro Park, and she had a blast running back and forth through these rings.

All these little ladies (and one little boy!) lined up and jumped into our pool together over and over . . . and over and over . . . again.

We had a play date at our friends’ house a few weekends ago, and these cuties had a blast jumping into the kiddie pool and running through that rainbow sprinkler in the background.

We did an early Father’s Day celebration at my parents’ pool, and we all enjoyed a little swimming.

Penelope isn’t allowed in the pool, but we hosed her down to cool her off.

We went to a going away party at a park in Grand Rapids, and the girls spent a good amount of time in the splash pad despite the fact that it was 65 degrees and cloudy!

After the party we went back to the cottage and had some friend time out on the boat. The seats in the back can fold down into this nice bed lounger, and it’s everyone’s new favorite spot!

We checked out the new playground at Kensington last week, and it’s right on the water. It wasn’t quite warm enough to swim, but we’ll definitely be back when it is!

Finally, over the weekend we got together for a pool party in Toledo to celebrate Eleanor’s 4th birthday, and these cousins had a blast together!

We’re headed to the cottage later this week for some 4th of July fun in the sun, so I might not get around to blogging on Monday. This is the first year we’re letting the girls stay up to see the fireworks, here’s hoping we don’t regret it!
XOXO
