Happy Monday, friends!
Our weekend was a pretty good one. We were basically outside for the entire day both days, and the girls played hard! Matty and I got a few projects done in between keeping an eye on the kiddos. I can already tell it’s going to be a bit easier this year because the girls are old enough to go back and forth from the neighbors houses and play with friends without us having to keep an eagle eye on them.
I got out for a last minute dinner with friends on Thursday night, and every other booth was occupied by these guys!

We went to Costco on Friday morning, and this was a new find. They are delicious, and the perfect sized little treat for after dinner.

I went for a walk Friday after school while Lucy rollerbladed, and the trees in our neighborhood never cease to delight me this time of year.

Lucy was looking good after her shower on Friday! Also, PLEASE do not pay any attention to our master bedroom. We have done nothing to it since we moved in, we still have our old, dark furniture from when we got married, and that God-awful Lazy Boy chair makes me roll my eyes every time I walk in our room . . . but it’s Matty’s favorite place to sit and work. It’ll get redone eventually.

We did our four mile walk both mornings, and on Saturday the girls stopped to chalk up the wall a little bit.

We went to a bar in town for dinner on Saturday evening, and Matty’s burger did not disappoint.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the girls’ sleep positions directly correlate to how tired they are. After an entire day outside with no rest time, they were exhausted on Saturday night . . . and they had crazy sleep positions to prove it!

She was so proud of herself!

Sunday evening Lucy did a little reading for school. The reader she brought home is clearly a book of fiction! ๐

And then we wound down for the night by doing a little crafting.

Have a great week!
XOXO
