Happy Monday!
On Saturday, my friend Stephanie and I took the girls to a Fairy Festival. My cousin, Jode, helps run Jackson School of the Arts and every year they do a big fairy festival. I finally decided this was the year I was going to take the girls, and it did not disappoint!
Waiting for our turn to go in, get our temperatures taken, hand sanitizer . . . blah, we all know the drill by now!

They divided the little fairies up into four groups, and we rotated through different rooms. Our first stop was the Cupcake Cafe. We all got a plate of snacks . . .

. . . and then after snack the girls made these adorable fairy houses.

You know she’s concentrating when her tongue comes out!

The art students made these awesome fairy wings!

There’s my cousin Jode! She was busy making sure everyone was having a great time, but she stopped to snap a quick picture.

Next it was time to meet a mermaid and Tinker Bell! Captain Hook and Peter Pan were also there, but the girls weren’t really into them.

Our third room was tea and dancing with the Fairy Queen! She read the girls a cute little book, they got to drink some “fairy nectar” . . .

. . . and then dance with the fairies!

Oh look, there’s Steph and me enjoying all the fairy magic!

We ended the day with face painting (or should I say forehead painting . . . thanks a lot, masks!) . . .

. . . and then a visit with Cinderella.

Happy fairies ready to head for home.

They each got a cute t-shirt as well!

This was one of the cutest things I’ve had the pleasure of doing with the girls! The workers made sure everyone had a great time. If you look in the background of some of my pictures you’ll see the art work on the walls from the students. Jackson School of the Arts has art, dance, and theatre classes and everything we saw was so impressive. It’s a solid hour away from us, though, which is a bummer because the girls would love taking classes there.
Fairy Festival, we’ll be back next year!
XOXO
