Hi friends, Happy Thursday!
I had originally planned to do my March Eyes and Ears post today, but that takes a lot of energy and focus . . . neither of which is on the menu for me this week. I’ve got a busy 10 days ahead of me, and I think planning ahead for those has tuckered me out a bit. I took a mental health night two nights ago and went to bed super early. It felt great, and I did it again last night . . .which left little time for blogging.
Here’s a few fun photos from our week.
When this is happening at 10:30am on a Tuesday, you know I’m tired! Emmy has a cold this week, and I was most definitely not feeling 100% on Tuesday. Thanks to Matty, I rested a lot and was feeling almost 100% on Wednesday.

We’d play a little bit and then we’d rest. Penelope knows the drill!

Crazy slide hair!

Matty knows when we need a little pick me up! He had to go to Ypsilanti for something and picked up some amazing donuts from Dom’s Bakery. We shared the donut love with some neighbors, and they were all as impressed as we are.

This is how she carried around her bone the other day.

She could be a puppy model, yes?!

We’ve had lots of walks this week, and Emmy is turning into quite the dog walker.

I picked these up for the girls at Target yesterday, and they are DARLING! They are hardcover, huge (my hand is in there for size reference), and only $5! They had a dragon one and a few others as well. I highly recommend for Easter baskets . . . or just because.

Our friends gave Emily this light board for her birthday, but Lucy finally got some alone time with it the other day and drew this picture for me. Her art makes me smile . . .

. . . but this made me smile even more! Lucy was in her room with her door closed, and I could hear her talking. When I peeked in, she was reading her new Magic Tree House books to her stuffies! Melt. My. Heart.

Lucy brought home a really great report card last Friday, so she got the first four Magic Tree House books as a reward. She can’t read them herself yet, but she sure is trying!

And that’s all she wrote, folks!
We’re celebrating our sweet Emmy Roses turning FOUR this weekend, so I’m sure I’ll be back to talk about that next week.
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
