Spring came in with a bang this weekend, and we took full advantage!
First of all, though, let me tell you about Thursday morning. It was a rainy morning, both girls had school, and Matty had an appointment . . . so I came home from dropping off the girls, made myself a protein smoothie, parked myself on the couch with Penelope . . . and didn’t move from there until 11:10 when Matty got home! It was amazing!

I had to make up for lost time in the afternoon, though, and got a little organizing done. I forgot to take a before picture of this disorganized sideboard, but I emptied everything out and put it all over the kitchen . . .

. . . and then got rid of a few things, condensed and labeled, and then put it all back in. Everything is much easier for the girls to access.

And while I organized, Batgirl did some serious coloring in her super cute lemon pajamas because it was pajama day at school.

The girls’ favorite place for iPad time is in the sunroom, and Penelope’s favorite place is wherever they are.

Someone was feeling cute on her roller skates!

And speaking of cute . . . Penelope woke up a little disheveled from her nap.

Matty had a looong day of driving on Friday and was very concerned with staying hydrated along the way.

Lucy brought this home from school on Friday, and I love it!

Our outdoor time started at 9:30 Saturday morning and lasted until about 5:00. It started with putting out the patio furniture, bike riding, car washing, slime making, and gymnastics practicing!

We had friends come over around 4:00, and Amelia tried out Emmy’s roller skates.

We grilled burgers for dinner, and these four cuties were cracking us up while we ate!

The girls and I ran a few errands on Sunday morning which included a stop to do a return at DSW. Lulu saw these sandals and wanted to try them on . . . and fell in love. She wants them on her birthday list, and Aunt Carla is already on top of it!

Matt hosed out the garage on Sunday, and we enjoyed outdoor lunch and soooo much playing.

Matty and I decided to take the girls to the park in the neighborhood next to ours, and a few friends joined us for the ride! See Matty way in the front?? They all did great. No one fell, got hurt, or cried so I’m calling it a win.

I probably should have pulled out the sunscreen this weekend because we’re going to bed with some red cheeks and noses, but it was worth it. It felt so good to be outside without coats on!
Have a great week!
XOXO
