Happy Monday!
I’m happy to report that all of my calendar gifts have been made and ordered, and it feels good!
I’ve got a lot of cuteness to catch you up on from last week. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and settle in.
Before we get to the pictures, though, I’d like to start with two of my favorite memes from last week. Watching the delivery trucks go through our little area of our circle is hilarious. Amazon vans, UPS. FedEx, USPS . . . they all stop at all the houses all the days of the week!

That first meme brings up a good point . . .

Perhaps those will be my 2021 goals!
I went in Lucy’s room to wake her up for school one morning and found this adorable bed she’d made for Fudge the Reindeer.

And then after breakfast I went upstairs to make sure Lulu was dressed for school. She wasn’t . . .but who can blame her when there’s an adorable fur ball laying on her face!

We discovered that the strong lens on Lucy’s glasses gives her a big eye when she holds them up like this. We all think it’s hilarious.

Not to be outdone, Emmy decided to make us laugh by getting silly with her licorice. Also, she had the tiniest little boo boo on her nose and insisted on that ridiculous band aid!

We realized we hadn’t seen Penelope in awhile . . . and this is where I found her.

I don’t know what was up with me last Tuesday, but I randomly felt like I needed a legit rest while Emily did her quiet time. Like moths to a flame, it’s like everyone’s radar went off that mama had gotten cozy on the couch! Elsa even had to get in on the snuggles.

Dance classes are on Zoom for two weeks. We were kind of dreading it, but the girls did a great job.

Lucy’s school stuffed a bus for a local women and children shelter. When it was her turn to go on the bus and drop off our donations, I think Lucy was more excited to be on an actual bus than she was to be donating to a good cause.

The girls were playing school and pretending it was picture day. They used my phone to take school pictures of one another. Oh. My. Heart.

And then they asked me to take a sister pic.

I think their little photo shoot was inspired by the fact that we got their actual school pictures on Tuesday. How cute are those smiles?!

We had a bunch of tiny school pictures, so we used them to make ornaments for grandparents. I bought a personal laminator from Target, and I am obsessed! If you need anything laminated, I’m your girl!

We went on a walk after school and had to stop to say hi to this festive lady . . .

. . . and Olaf!

And then Lucy wanted to take a picture of us. We were quite the spectacle on these people’s lawn!

Fridays are show and tell day at Lucy’s school, and my view was pretty cute as I walked her to the door. That’s my giant Shar Pei stuffy that Matty bought me when we first started dating. For those of you who don’t know, we had a Shar Pei named Daisy growing up, and she was awesome . . . and wrinkly!

Something totally unexpected happened this weekend . . . the girls spent the night at Rita’s house on Friday and then she dropped them off at my parents’ house for Saturday night! Yep, from 7pm on Friday until 3pm on Sunday we were without our little ladies. I love them dearly, but it was glorious! There was a lot of productivity with a healthy dose of laziness as well!

Isn’t she beautiful?? And scruffy! She goes to the groomer tomorrow.

We also confirmed that we can’t open up the Christmas candy to “just have a few” before it’s time to actually start baking. At least I didn’t do this alone, Matty did his part!

And finally, look how big my niece and nephews are getting! The legit brotherly love in this picture is adorable!

We’ve got a pretty standard week ahead of us. I can’t believe it’s less than three weeks until Christmas; the time is flying by! We’ll be soaking up all the Christmas fun . . . including moving our elf. The Kissels are elf people, and Matty and I enjoy watching the girls try to find Raspberry each morning.
Have a great week!
XOXO
