Happy Thursday!
I hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying the crazy good weather. The girls have been running around outside with neighbors all day long, and they get a nightly case of the 6pm grumpies to prove it!
Just a handful of pictures to share today before we embark on a SUPER BUSY weekend. It’s going to be fun, but busy!
On Monday we took the girls out to lunch to celebrate our anniversary a day early. This was the first time they’d been out somewhere since March 13 . . . do they look excited? Honestly, I think they’re more excited for mama’s new Bogg Bag! My parents bought me the large one which has been perfect for the boat and pool. I decided to pick up a little guy for smaller trips to the park (or restaurant), and I LOVE it.

Fourteen years and going strong!

I saw this while Matty was at golf night (on our anniversary!), and it made me LOL.

Aww, don’t we look so cute and happy? One of us is faking it. Spoiler alert: IT’S ME! Matty took this picture at 9:30 on Tuesday night when he got home from golf. Tuesday nights are supposed to be my night to put the girls to bed by 8pm sharp and then have some “Molly time.” It had been a super busy and hot day, and a shower, my bed, and an episode of The Good Wife were calling my name. You know who else was calling my name??? Lucy! She gave me a run for my money at bedtime. She was all kinds of sad and emotional and clingy for some reason. My mama heart knew she needed some “special” time with me, but my mama head was not in the game. That’s not the nicest thing to say, I know, but it’s the truth.

So we read some Paw Patrol phonics books out on the deck for awhile before Matty took her back up for sleepy time 2.0.

I had to take Ems to the doctor yesterday afternoon, and she wore her mask for the first time. I don’t know if this is the sweetest pic or the saddest pic. Kids in masks make me feel like a rollercoaster of emotions.

She did a great job wearing her unicorn kitty mask for the entire visit. (Our masks are courtesy of my friend Amber.) She kept whispering to me, “Don’t tell the doctor that I’m wearing a mask!” hahaha

And that’s all she wrote, folks! Today is a BIG day at the Kissel house. There might be pictures posted on Instagram or Facebook later today. You can check me out there, otherwise you’ll have to wait until Monday! ๐
Let me just go ahead and burst your bubble right now . . . I’m not pregnant. The big day has nothing to do with me having a baby! That ship has sailed, ladies and gentlemen! It’s time for everyone to accept it! ๐
I hope everyone has a great weekend, and Happy Father’s Day to all the awesome dads out there!
XOXO
