Happy Monday!!
We are coming off a weekend of beautiful weather, and I REALLY want it to stay that way. But it’s March in Michigan so I know better. I’ll take what I can get, though!
Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the past week or so.
Matty took both girls to the grocery last weekend and rewarded their good behavior with star shaped donuts the size of their faces!

I had the cutest little helper at Trader Joe’s! See the cheese puffs in Em’s cart? Those were an impulse buy at Emmy’s request, and the girls LOVE them. Lucy thinks they are similar to Pirate’s Booty (which I think she must have had for snack at school because I’ve never actually purchased it), but she keeps calling it “Pirate Booties” instead. It’s hilarious to hear the girls ask if they can have some “pirate booties” for snack!

I’m telling you. . . sign up for a monthly subscription of the giant thing of paper towels from Target. Once a month you will be guaranteed an entire afternoon of amazing independent playtime! Where’s Emmy you ask? Underneath the box coloring the inside!

Can you guess where Lucy is?? The girls thought this picture was so funny!

Emmy has been an early riser the past month or so, which means I get a cute little helper when I’m prepping dinner in the morning.

I was pretty darn proud of Emmy’s double french braids!

My lunches this past week. Does it look pretty? yes. Does it taste good? I suppose so. Am I excited and happy to eat lunch? Nope. ๐

I’ve been enforcing some stricter rest time policies over the past few weeks, and the girls are FINALLY understanding. Lucy spent thirty minutes setting up her dog training toys to look exactly like the picture on the box.

My beautiful vacuum lines were demolished within minutes. ๐

We had our first official movie night on Friday, and the girlies got a special snack.

All cozied up and ready to watch . . .

. . . Frozen 2! “Lost in the Woods” might be one of the greatest Disney songs ever.

I was up bright and early Saturday morning to meet one of my friends at a Mom to Mom sale. I found these Crocs in Lucy’s size with the tags still on them! These will be perfect either for her Easter basket or her birthday; I haven’t decided which yet.

Emmy thought playing with the toilet paper was funny. She didn’t find it so funny when she had to roll it all back up. Toilet paper isn’t cheap, people! And, apparently, there’s a shortage of it due to the Coronavirus panic so we need all we can get. (Please note that I am not in any way shape or form worried about the Coronavirus or running out of toilet paper. I just heard about that on the news, so it must be true.)

Yesterday was a beautiful day! We went to a park after lunch and the girls had a great time running around.

This giant spinning contraption is new. And totally safe, right? #notreally

We spent the entire rest of the day outside on Sunday. A little glimpse of what’s to come, and we are ready for it!
We actually have a fairly busy week ahead of us, but the most important thing on the agenda is me on the couch watching the finale of The Bachelor tonight AND tomorrow night. #commitment
Have a great week!
