Tomorrow our sweet Emmy Roses turns three years old! I cannot believe how quickly the time has flown by while somehow seeming like forever ago that Ems was a tiny baby.

Ems loves her scooter, bike, stuffies, and baby dolls. She is obsessed with oatmeal, cucumbers with Ranch, and Frozen 2. She’s entered a bit of a whiny stage lately, but overall is so happy and smiley.

If we had to describe Emily Rose in one word, there is no doubt that both Matty and I would say . . . GOOFY! She does the silliest things, has the strangest mannerisms and facial expressions, and can crack all of us up with the way she uses inflection in her voice to get her point across.

Emily’s birthday interview did not disappoint. I’ve written her answers exactly as she told them to me. She granted me this interview while she was busy coloring a picture of a giraffe, and I’m not sure she looked up at me the entire time I was asking her questions.

I told you she was sweet! Emily’s family birthday party was supposed to be yesterday, but obviously got cancelled due to the quarantine. We’ll be making her day as special as possible tomorrow. There’ll still be cake and ice cream, we’ll support local restaurants by getting carry out pizza and salad from Buddy’s, and we’ll set up all our devices so that the family can sing Happy Birthday and watch her blow out her candles.
Oh, and she’s going to FLIP OUT when she sees the gift we got her! (No, it’s not a puppy!) Come on back on Thursday to see what it is. ๐
Have a great week. Stay safe and stay sane!
XOXO
