. . . OH MY!
We’ve had a busy week here at the Kissel house, and I’ve got lots of cute pictures to prove it.
Lucy’s class took a field trip to the Museum of Natural History to see the dinosaurs on Monday. We started it off with a bathroom selfie!

Don’t let these pictures fool you. She probably asked me ten times if it was time to go home yet. The museum may have been a little bit over her head at this age.
They had a tooth that was found right here in South Lyon!

Lucy spied a dino stuffy in the gift shop on our way out, so that made the trip a little more exciting for her. Also, she picked out a purple one for Emmy which made my heart happy.

After the field trip we went out to lunch, and then I took her to Kohl’s to pick out a birthday gift for Emily. It was a sweet little mommy/Lucy date!

The rest of the afternoon was spent practicing rollerskating . . .

. . . and drawing with fancy sidewalk chalk.

We went to my friend Marie’s house for a playdate on Tuesday morning. There was a lot of dress up going on!

Miss Marie let the girls feed Amelia’s fish, which they were very excited about.

If you have a young child and haven’t purchased a Bentgo Kids Box yet, you are missing out! They are perfect for packing meals on the go. Lucy has had hers for almost four years, and it’s in perfect condition. As you can see, Marie and I are both big fans!

Tuesday afternoon I took the girls and signed them up for swim school! They are in the Monday afternoon class, but they were so excited to start that they nice lady who signed us up said they could do a class on Wednesday this week so they wouldn’t have to wait until next Monday.

Emmy slept in big time yesterday morning, and we had to wake her up in time to get Lucy to school. Lucy wanted to help, so she rubbed Emmy’s back for a minute. It was a sweet little sister moment.

I dropped a Lucy off at school but picked up a dinosaur!

And then yesterday evening the girls had their very first sister swim lesson. They were a little nervous, but mostly excited. Their teacher came to get them, and they went in to the pool area without any tears. #thankgoodness

The last time Lucy took a swim class, she looked like this! Oh my heart!

They were all smiles the entire time . . .

. . . especially when they got to use the showers afterward!

Today’s a work day for me, so hopefully I’m at the library getting some homework done and fixing up the Recipe page on the blog.
Tomorrow Matty’s going to handle bedtime solo so that I can go out to dinner with some neighbors, which is the perfect way to start the weekend.
See you back here on Monday!
XOXO
