. . . blog about it or it didn’t happen!
I know it’s all anyone is talking about, and it’s getting a little old, but such is life in March of 2020.
I really don’t even have many pictures to share either. I thought about devoting this post to all the memes I’ve seen about toilet paper, but I decided not to!
The girls are off of school until April 6th at least. Matty is working from home for an unspecified amount of time. I’m mourning the loss of our daily outings, but we’ll make the best of it. Thank goodness the weather is improving a bit so we can get outside!
That giant baby doll is named Clementine, and she was mine when I was little! Lucy brought her home from my mom and dad’s for a few days and enjoyed dressing her up as Bat Baby.

I had plans to go out to dinner with neighbors on Friday night. There was MUCH debate all day long about whether or not we should go. We had all been to the grocery, other stores for errands, and in the schools to pick up our kiddos so we figured Friday was already kind of a wash as far as social distancing went. So . . . we went out for a quick sushi dinner, and it was delicious!

It only took us about 20 minutes to clear the board!

We played outside for a bit on Saturday, and then after bath we took advantage of Disney releasing Frozen 2 three months early on Disney Plus! Proof that there is humanity left in the world! 😉

Yesterday was a sunny day so Matty decided to wash his car. I took the girls for some laps around our circle, and then they decided they wanted to help.

And then Matty helped the girls take our neighbor’s dog for a walk. They came around the corner with Emmy proudly holding the dog leash and Lucy proudly swinging the full poop bag! haha

And that’s it! It’ll be interesting to see how our week plays out with Matty working at home. The girls will be disappointed today when they find out they have to miss their second swim lesson. I’m disappointed because it’s the first Monday night without a Bachelor episode, and I could really use something to look forward to right now!
We’re lucky that the girls are so little and all they have to do for school is play. We don’t have to worry about setting up routines or homeschooling or anything like that. I may break down and Prime a new educational toy or two. Even before the outbreak I had been saying that the girls were getting tired of all their toys.
Hang in there everyone, and I’ll check back on on Thursday!
XOXO
Bat Baby!!!!! 😂🦇👶🏻 Also, I can’t believe Lu is carrying the dog poop!!!! Eeewwwww!! That’s more times than I’ve carried a dog poop bag in my lifetime 🤷🏼♀️
And then Lucy spent the next 15 min telling us why she needs a pet. And last night I had a dream we got a dog and named it Clover! I have a feeling there’s going to be lot of pros/cons lists in our near future!
