Happy Thursday!
I’m back after a week off from the blogging world, and I’ve got lots of pictures to show for it.
A few weeks ago I took the girls to Lowe’s to get some house keys made to give to the grandparents. Had I known in advance what a variety of keys they now offer, I would have left the girls at home! They have everything from Disney keys to candy keys to flowers, stripes, and dogs! The girls were in heaven and kept picking out all the keys they’d have if they could get their own. The bad news . . . the types of keys I needed copied didn’t allow for anything too spectacular. The good news . . . I now know exactly what to get for stocking stuffers for Christmas or for a little gift from the girls’ Elf on the Shelf!
Lucy brought this home from her gymnastics preschool class last week, and I thought it was so cute!
Pool time with Daddy is so much more exciting than with mommy!
Marie and I took our four kiddos for a playground/pool/picnic playdate.
This little guy was at the playground, and Lucy couldn’t get enough!
We had a relaxing weekend at the cottage this past weekend. It involved snuggling on the boat . . .
. . . golf cart rides . . .
. . . and lots of ice cream!
We had some delicious peaches while we were there, and Lucy had a grand idea to plant the pit and grow a peach tree. Who knows . . . maybe ten years from now we’ll be eating our own peaches!
This is how I clean out my car when I’m on my own with the girls.
We’ve been really into coloring lately, and I love it. I just ordered some new coloring books from Amazon and can’t wait to try them out!
After lunch the other day my mom and I got to sit on the deck and chat for about 30 minutes while the girls blew bubbles. It was perfection!
Matty golfs on Tuesday nights, so after nap I took the girls to the library and out to dinner.
Emmy and I went to Trader Joe’s after her gymnastics class yesterday while Lucy was still at her own class. I was unable to distract Ems from seeing the little kid carts, so she got her own and actually did a pretty good job! The only person she ran into was me, thank goodness. She enjoyed pushing around her own cart while sampling mini chicken tacos, choosing chocolate chip scones as her “one item” to select, and getting her own mini chocolate chip ice cream cone from the worker at the check out. I’d say it was a successful visit!
All that gymnastics and shopping tuckered her out!
And that’s what we’ve been up to lately!
You guys . . . we have NO PLANS this weekend, and I am ready for it!
See you back here on Monday!
XOXO
