Happy Thursday!
We’ve been busy this week, and I’ve got the pictures to prove it.
Within five minutes of waking up the other day, Lucy had her Cinderella outfit on. I asked her to pose for a picture and she said, “I can’t take a picture mommy, my prince just arrived and I really need to go to the ball.”
The girls thought this chair at Target was super cool. Honestly, so did I!
I ordered some sunglasses to try from Warby Parker a few weeks ago and accidentally ordered an entire box of home try ons. Oops! They all got sent back, but not before Lucy had a little fun with these.
I don’t want to jinx anything, but I think Emmy’s sleeping is getting better! There’s been very little crying the past few days, and she is only waking up once, it at all, throughout the night. She’s getting back on track just in time for us to head to the cottage for five days and have her sleep in a room with Lucy! (Update: forget everything I just said. It was a fluke! She woke up crying like seven times on Tuesday night!)
I was chatting with my mama friends the other day and said that I wished I could get on board with the stacking bracelets that everyone’s wearing, but that they just don’t seem practical when I’m playing with my kids and working in the kitchen all day long. Plus, I wouldn’t know where to start. Apparently, I can just ask Emmy for advice because she came downstairs the other day rocking a full set!
You guys! I can’t even handle this picture! I love that all of her chubby glory is being emphasized!
Lucy’s last official day of three year old preschool was on Tuesday.
Does she look proud of herself??
First Day and Last Day
She’s definitely growing up!
And just for fun, here she is on her first and last days of Stay and Play when she was two!
Oma spent the entire day with the girls yesterday. As she was walking out the door the ice cream truck was driving by and, boy, did her wallet come out quickly! This was the girls’ first experience with the ice cream truck, and I think they’re hooked!
Matty was doing some yard work and aimed his blower at the girls. These little ladies live for things like this!
This morning we have Lucy’s end of the year picnic at a farm, and then we’re hitting the road for the cottage for the weekend.
Here’s hoping the weather shows some improvement!
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
