Happy Monday!
Hope you had a good weekend. Ours was the perfect mix of errands, relaxing, playing, and . . . Daniel Tiger!
Friday morning started off with a bang. Ems woke up and drank her milk as usual. While I was changing her diaper, she had a major coughing fit and suddenly projectile vomited twice . . . all over herself, me, her wall, and my phone. Not the greatest way to start the day, but she was super excited to get a morning bath!
Emmy was working her little legs so hard while pushing Lu around in this shopping cart. It was hilarious.
Aunt Judie sent the girls some Christmas money, and we used to it buy these Bilibo chairs. I didn’t actually get a picture of the girls sitting in them, but they are very versatile. They can sit in them and try to balance, we can spin the girls while they sit in them, we put scarves through the holes and pulled them around, and the girls like to stand on them and count how long they can balance. These are going to be great tools for keeping the girls active inside during the winter months!
Oh, and you can be a turtle with the chair too!
Sunday morning we took the girls to Toddler Time at Sky Zone. Emmy jumped her little heart out!
Ems got cozy in her tent and Lucy’s robe when we got home.
While we were at Sky Zone, one of my mama friends texted that she had tickets for Daniel Tiger Live on Sunday afternoon that she wasn’t going to be able to use . . . so I took them off her hands, and Lucy and I had an impromptu mama/daughter date!
Lucy was so excited!
I let her pick a special treat, and she didn’t have to think twice before asking for a Katerina stuffy.
Our seats were awesome, and we had the best time!
It turns out Sky Zone and DT Live in the same day was too much for Lulu . . .she fell asleep before we were even out of the parking garage!
We got home just in time for dinner. Emmy spent the afternoon napping and then hanging out with her Daddy and Grandma Rita. We brought her a Daniel Tiger stuffy since she didn’t get to go with us.
Another great weekend in the books!
I’m starting off the week with a little much needed “me” time and getting my hair cut. But not too short because Lucy will be devastated if my hair doesn’t grow as long as Tangled’s. #momlife
Have a great week!
XOXO
