Happy New Years Eve!!
This is my favorite (and most time consuming) post of the year! I love looking back and remembering all the fun things we did throughout the year.
We lost both of our dogs in 2018, and that was a big adjustment for our family. As hard and sad as that was for us, I still feel comfortable saying that we were blessed with another pretty amazing year. Starting in 2014 when we finally got pregnant with Lucy, we’ve had a major change every year since!
2014: Positive pregnancy test
2015: Lucy was born
2016: SURPRISE! I got pregnant with Emmy.
2017: Ems was born
2018: Lost our dogs . . . and MOVED!
We’re done having kiddos, we’re done moving, and we’re done with pets for the foreseeable future, so I think we’re finished with BIG years. #onlytimewilltell
Alrighty, if your resolution for 2019 is to read more super long blog posts, then I’ve got you covered!

Thanks so much for stopping by and reading about our 2018 adventures!
We have big plans to prove we can act as normal adults and stay up until midnight tonight, and we’re really hoping that watching the new Mission Impossible movie can help us do it! So, basically, we’re going to ring in 2019 the same way we spent 2018: on the couch, in our jammies, with one of us sound asleep while the other watches TV by himself.
Friends, Matty and I are very much aware of how lucky we are. We have been blessed with so many years of good fortune, and we don’t take that for granted. If 2018 wasn’t your year, I hope and pray that 2019 brings health, happiness, and so much more.
Happy New Year!
XOXO
