Emmy Roses turned 18 months old a few weeks ago and had her well visit yesterday, so it’s time to see how the girls measure up!
I love this picture of Lucy when she was 18 months old. We still have the hat and jacket for Ems, so we recreated the picture. Our sweet girls! ๐
Emmy’s doctor appointment went just about as I expected . . . lots and LOTS of crying. Lucy was such a great big sister and tried to keep her calm. For the most part, Ems was calm as long as the nurse or doctor weren’t in the room.
The visit was exceptionally quick this time around. After the scream fest that was Em’s 15 month appointment, they probably made a note in her chart to keep things moving!
We all got our flu shots while we were there, and Lucy was a champion! She wanted to hold my hand, but didn’t shed a tear. Emmy shed enough for all three of us . . . plus the population of a small country. #notjoking
But look how sweet Lucy was when we were all finished! She gave Ems the biggest hug and said, “Don’t worry, Emmy, it’s over now.” My heart melted. (Lu spent the rest of the day pushing Emmy, kicking Emmy, and stealing every possible toy away from her . . . but I’m going to hold on to that sweet moment at the doctors office!)
Here are their 18 month stats:
Lucy
Weight: 26lbs 4oz. (86th percentile)
Height: 35″ (99th percentile)
Emily
Weight: 28lbs 10oz (96th percentile)
Height: 36″ (100th percentile)
When going over Em’s growth chart, I believe the doctor said something along the lines of, “So she’s big . . . but she’s proportional.” hahaha
Just for fun, here are a few comparison pics of the girls in their 18 month stage.
Other than flu shots, Emily is finished with her shots until she’s four! Will that make her two year check up go smoother? Only time will tell . . . but I’m doubtful!
In case you missed them, here are the links to my previous comparison posts of my sweet baby girls. Time is going too fast!!!
XOXO
