As of last week, Emmy Roses is officially 15 months old!
And there’s no better way to celebrate than with a traumatic doctor visit and three shots.
Just kidding. I can think of a hundred better ways to celebrate.
I haven’t done a comparison post in awhile, so I thought I’d show how the girls both measured up at 15 months.
First, and most important, here’s how they both looked at their 15 month check ups.
Normally I would make a cute little chart with their stats, but I’m slightly distracted by the Bachelorette while I type this so I’m just going to type them right here.
Lucy
Weight: 24lbs 1oz (84th percentile)
Height: 33.75″ (100th percentile!)
Head: 47cm (90th percentile . . . she gets it from her daddy)
Emily
Weight: 27lbs 4oz (97th percentile)
Height: 34″ (100th percentile!)
Head: 47cm (90th percentile . . . she also gets it from her daddy!)
So they are very similar in height and head, but Emmy is three pounds heavier.
The one major difference in the girls is that Lucy hardly ever cried at the doctor, and Ems just does not stop!!
Here they are waiting somewhat patiently for Em’s appointment.
And here is a happy moment in between scream sessions. Anytime the nurse was in the room, Emmy screamed. I don’t mean cried hard . . . I mean screamed! We got a little break before the doctor came in. Ems was fine while I chatted with the doctor, but the minute the check up started so did the screaming. And then the nurse came back in with three shots for Emmy, which required her to be pinned down on the bed and me having to hold her hands, and I wanted to cry too. As soon as we left, though, she perked right up and was fine the rest of the day.
She doesn’t have to go back for three months . . . thanks goodness!!
XOXO
