More like cleaning up my phone. . . because that’s way more productive than cleaning my actual house. I swear there are dust bunnies on top of the actual dust in our house.
But, for now, I’m working on deleting a bunch of pictures from my phone and figured I’d share them here first so they can live on in blog infamy.
Last week was HOT, and we spent a lot of time in the kiddie pool and sprinkler.
Emmy is starting to show an interest in watching videos on Grandma Ri’s phone.
Lucy and Nemo got their three year check up, and they both did great!
My little ray of sunshine!
Nope, those aren’t rain puddles; they’re pee puddles. So, potty training is going well. ๐ Seriously, though, we are two weeks in and Lucy is doing a pretty good job. No matter how much I monitor her liquids, though, the afternoons always prove tricky for her.
There were two days in a row last week where Matty didn’t get home until after bedtime. One of those days I had planned to make dinner and cookies for some of our friends who just had a baby, I had to make dinner for us, and I was working on redecorating the living room. Normally, I could have gotten most of that done during Emmy’s two hour nap . . . except she only napped for 45 minutes. #ugh
This was the state of my kitchen at 5:30pm that day, and I had to document it because this is a rare sight! Needless to say, I skipped my own dinner so that I could get things under control while the girls ate. Everything turned out fine, and the new cookie recipe I tried was delish.
A fleeting moment of sisterly love.
How cute is Lucy with baby Eliana?! She couldn’t wait to hold her and kept wanting to touch Elie’s feet and check on her. When Emmy was a newborn, I mostly remember Lucy yelling at her to be quiet and then stealing her blanket. #whatadifferenceayearmakes
I’m not gonna lie . . . it made my ovaries ache just a little bit! ๐
#wearedone #probably #okdefinitely
Emmy Roses didn’t want anything to do with the baby, but was loving the trampoline.
I had some returns to do at the mall Friday morning so I let the girls play for a bit. Matty bought them these cute tank tops that are blue and white striped with carrots on them. He kept mentioning that the girls hadn’t worn them yet, so Friday was the day.
Emmy pulled her hair bow out, and a lady asked me how old HE was. That never happens when I dress them! (insert the winky emoji here)
I got this picture from Brian on Friday morning . . . Tommy got a new set of wheels!
There is nobody cuter or sweeter than Emmy Roses!
This is how we do Holiday Market.
We went to look at a house on Saturday, and I was super pumped about this picture of the closet that was on the Zillow listing. I sent it to Sarah and asked if she thought it would inappropriate of me to drape myself across that bench and take a selfie. She said no . . .
. . . so I snapped a quick one while we were there! There were other people milling around, so I didn’t want to risk getting caught on the bench. The closet was seriously amazing!
And as for the house . . . are you on the edge of your seat as to whether or not we are buying it?? Wait for it . . .

We are not. Ha!
This used to be my Tupperware drawer, but the other day it was Lucy’s “delivery box” for when she made her UPS deliveries. Maybe I’m doing too much online shopping lately??
Rita’s neighborhood had a Bark in the Park event on Sunday, and we decided to take the girls. It rained a ton in the morning, but had stopped by the time we got there. Lucy didn’t get the memo.
Emmy got a little work done while we waited for Lucy to use the potty.
We decided to walk to the park. All three of them had their game faces on!
So somehow we have zero pictures of the dogs, but there were some cool ones there.
We stopped to look at the fountains and then headed to lunch.
We went to Big Bear Lodge for lunch. The food was yummy, but the service was super slow, and the girls definitely started to lose it. Prior to that, though, they enjoyed sampling the lemon wedges. #weirdos
We have a pretty standard week ahead of us. I’m hosting a play date on Tuesday morning, and then Wednesday evening I’m trying out an Inferno Pilates class! It’s an hour long class in a 95 degree room. Prior to having babies, I loved taking the Pilates classes when we belonged to Lifetime. Three years and two C-sections later, I have zero core muscles or strength left, and it’s about time I did something about it. That being said, I’m sure this will be an intense class. It’s 8:15-9:15 Wednesday night, so if there’s no blog post Thursday morning just assume I pulled something, passed out, or ended up in the hospital. #kidding #mostly #itsgonnabehot
Have a great week!
XOXO
