Happy Thursday!
It’s been a pretty uneventful week around here, and I’m not complaining!
I took this picture Sunday night while I was on the treadmill. Sydney was more into resting than working out.
I took the girls to story time Monday morning, and it was Emmy’s first time going! She might not be showing it here, but she had a great time bopping around to the songs and playing with her friends.
Ems has really been in to sitting in an receptacle that will hold her lately.
And she’s also constantly putting things on her head.
Lucy has been into having her hair braided. For this picture, she wanted Queen Elsa hair. That is not in my repertoire of hair dos . . . so she got a crazy French braid and we called it a day.
Lulu is also into putting on some of my lipstick in the mornings. I turned my phone to selfie mode so she could see how it looked, and her reaction was adorable!
I had some returns to do at the mall, so we stopped and played for a bit while we were there.
Emmy will seriously try to snuggle with anything she comes into contact with!
Me and my girls. This was right before Lucy launched herself off the chair onto my back.
Remember when I used to do monthly book reviews?? Funnily enough, I actually increased the amount of books I read the first few months after Emmy was born. There wasn’t much else for me to do while rocking a colicky baby all day/night. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time or energy to review all of them. So I decided that, starting now, as I finish books that I want to recommend I’m just going to include them in my regular posts.
The Family Next Door was most definitely a page turner. It’s about several different families all living on the same street in an Australian suburb and the secrets they keep. Right from the start, I couldn’t put it down. If the girls were occupied for a few minutes I’d find myself hopping on my phone and reading a few pages whenever I could. Toss this one into your beach bag for sure . . . if summer ever gets here!
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
