Yay, it’s Thursday!! That means only one more day until Matty is on vacation! #woo #hoo
This is going to be a very short/unexciting post. The big news of the week was Lucy’s haircut, and those pictures have already been taken care of. I have so little else to share that I considered not even doing a post . . . but the grandmas wouldn’t like that!
I was in charge of snack at Lucy’s school on Tuesday. Along with some graham crackers, I took in these Rudolph applesauce pouches. This is what being a mama is all about!
Lucy watched an episode of Bubble Guppies that talked about cowgirls, and now she’s obsessed. She picked this outfit all on her own at school and said, “Look, momoozle, I’m a cowgirl!” If only this obsession had started a little sooner, we could have gotten her some cowgirl dress up clothes for Christmas.
The kiddos have been working on a little project with their teacher at school for a few weeks now. Lucy wasn’t comfortable going alone with her teacher to make the project, so I knew what it was. However, she did go by herself with Mrs. T to wrap the present, and I was so proud of her! She wrapped, she cut tape, and Mrs. T said Lucy told her all about her doggies at home. I was so proud of her for leaving my side . . . but of course I had to run over and take a picture!
Lulu loves snack and story time.
Remember the special project she wrapped? . . . This was it! How cute! I can’t wait to hang this up year after year . . . after year . . . after year!
Leslie hosted a playdate on Wednesday, and it was pretty chill . . . as chill as a house with three toddlers and three babies can be!
Lucy and I made some festive Play Doh, and she can’t wait to share it with her cousin Tommy.
And finally, Lucy decided that her bus needed some Christmas decorations, so we broke out the Christmas stickers. Anything that keeps her busy for 15 minutes straight is ok with me!
Like I said: short, sweet, and not too exciting!
This afternoon we are finally headed to Fantasy Land. I’m not sure if I’ll blog about it this week or next. I scheduled a post for Christmas Day of the photos from our Christmas card photo shoot, but other than that I’m going off the grid for the weekend! Whatever your plans are for the holidays, I hope they are happy!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!
XOXO
