Last month I was scrolling through my Facebook feed when I saw some pictures that my friend, Bridget, posted of her two little kiddos. They were the most adorable pics of the kids with bunnies and a lamb for Easter. They looked so happy and cute that I immediately got the name of the photographer who did the pictures and booked a little session for Lucy. She loves animals so I figured she’d love getting to play with them and get her picture taken. Oh Molly . . . when will you ever learn?!
I deliberately chose a time slot in the late afternoon so as not to interfere with nap. Turns out I needn’t have worried about it because Lucy decided not to take a nap that day! When we arrived at the photographer’s house, Lucy was tired and a bit wary of the new surroundings. Also, the photographer’s teenage son was assisting with the animals and Lucy was extremely unsure about him! So, if you like to see pictures of a non-smiling toddler in a super cute dress playing with animals, then this is the blog post for you! Oh, and for those of you (like my SIL, Carla) who are wondering . . . YES, the animals are real!!
Happy Easter!
I mean, really, does it get better than this??
Her first (and only) smile!
Emily hadn’t made her appearance yet when these pictures were taken, so here’s a cute one of her sleeping . . . which she definitely does best during the daytime hours!
XOXO
