Here’s what’s been going on in our life lately.
It’s been four years since we had our patio built, and Matty thought it was time to reseal it. The difference is like night and day and we love it! However, this week I’ve caught myself several times looking outside and thinking that it was raining because the patio looked wet.
I was pretty proud of our healthy dinner Monday night. Don’t be fooled, though. I had to justify all of the cookie dough I ate during a nap time baking session. FDA be darned, I’m eating it anyway!
Lucy’s obsession with her bucket continues!
We have indoor and outdoor buckets! Super cute swimsuit courtesy of Aunt Carla (and Target!).
Lucy was so sweet the other morning when she gave Sydney one of her burp clothes. Sydney is a snuggler and promptly cuddled right up with it.
Unfortunately, Lucy changed her mind and wanted it back.
It’s street fair season, and this week we hit up the Wyandotte fair. It’s like Mother Nature finds the art fair weeks and makes it super hot every day!
This was before the red cheeks and sweaty hair.
It was SO hot, and they would have tasted SO good. But we didn’t do it. I’m thinking it mainly had to do with the fact that it was 10:30am and nothing to do with the fact that we had three kiddos with us.
Drinking from a big girl cup at lunch!
Finishing up the day with her new hat that Oma bought at the fair. It’s so cute, and Lucy has been wearing it around the house quite a bit! #win
That’s about it. Do you know what hasn’t been happening in my life lately? School work. With only a month left, this mama is starting to freak out a little bit. Next week I’m going to have to batten down the hatches . . . gird my loins . . . hunker in the bunker and do some work!
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
Had lots of fun at the fair you and gals ๐ The patio looks great! We're looking to re-seal our front walk this year too. Any tips would be appreciated ๐ Lastly, what's next to the salmon and salad on your healthy dinner plate? A mini-spinach quiche of some kind? Recipe please??
Matty says you have to use Polyseal Plus, use two coats, and don't do it when it's super hot outside. As far as the recipe for what's next to the salmon . . . go to Costco and buy a package of Super Food Veggie Cakes from the frozen food section. This was the first time we've tried them, and they were really yummy! Just pop them in the oven for 12 minutes and they are good to go!
Love the new watermelon hat!
