We’ve been taking Lucy’s pictures ourselves since she was born. For her first birthday, I had great hopes of plopping her in the grass at the park with a couple bunches of balloons and just letting her do her thing. The weather had other ideas, though, so I had to come up with something inside. This is the background I came up with. Ideally the purple paper would have been a little wider, but I didn’t want to use two sections of it and have a seam. It was a little cramped, and that darn “1” balloon kept turning the wrong way, but I got some good shots!
I feel like this is a classic Lucy look, and every time I look at this picture I can hear the silly noises she was making!
This one is now framed in our dining room!
I think this one will appear on her graduation board when she’s 18!
Not pictured are the countless times Lucy dove head first off of the chair and Grandma Rita dove in to catch her!
Ok, so this is officially my Sunday evening post.
You’ll have to check back tomorrow for all the details of the birthday party! Oh the suspense!!
XOXO
These are amazing!!!! Truly my favorite is the one with her bent over with her head in the cushion! But those sweet ones of her smiling are just incredible. Well done!!!
